Went to Mass this morning after some good meditation and prayers – of which I no longer recall. When to Mass and Had a weird experience during Confession right before I was to make my Act of Contrition and following Blessing – I felt part of me (like a ghost) Stand up and walk out.
I realized that I was following a Formula and perhaps I really was not Contrite enough to Receive the Host, so I did not.
Some of the choice was because did not have time to do the full assigned Penitence before the Mass started and although that would not normally been a consideration – given that other aspect .. I decided I would meditate and do a longer Penitence later today, and consider my State of Being. Before tomorrow's Sunday Mass.
