In this morning's prayers and Meditations I Ask – What is Repentance?
Having suffered regular relapses from Sin I Repented from and Acted on, to have it return as Temptation and giving way to the Temptation in small and large Sins – this is a Question worth some Consideration.
And I think it is important to bring up the Nature of the very distinct [Repeating] Days-of-Bread to the fatalistic argument of 'Why Bother? I have failed [daily, regularly, often, ..] so why continue to Struggle' or even to Confess and Seek Absolution if it seems clear that at some point I will fail again, perhaps soon .. how can I seriously seek Absolution with this growing conviction of a failure soon, and related questions.
My Father has a good Answer, 'The Grace [given] is sufficient unto the Day' .. which is basically a very much more extensive version of the 'One day at a time' that is popular with those struggling to not drink alcohol or other similar vices, and those helping others in such.
That with Faith and such an understanding, that temptation may be overcome – and I have done this often, and often it is as simple as not to do that Sin until after SunDown (End of Day-of-Bread), and then at Sundown – 'maybe when I wake-up', and so on until

My Model of the Holy give some insight into why we are regularly challenged and not only to 'test' but to actually provide enough different situations where – if we succeed – we have re-built the response patterns that will protect us from more and greater temptations .. it is a source of strength that some Sin I did very regularly is something I would hardly consider today – yet I can consider and expect some version of these Days-of-Bread would put me into a type a Stress that would encourage such relapses ..ideally I would succeed, or at least many versions of me would – in Not failing, and those versions would be Stronger – and the versions that failed would – possibly – need to Host (and Suffer in and for) the Multiverse which that Sin produces – 'healing' that version .. to learn to Better be 'IN the world, not OF it' and to Better Orient myself and everything Relative to God – in Right [Just] Order.

Part of the difficulties in such Meditations is that it makes clear(er) that my Ignorance - in General – is an active part of my Soul .. that I refuse to face that which I Know to be True – that I am now Burning on a Cross Hosting this, and that this is like a dream aspect – a Mercy of huge dimensions and yet to Acknowledge this would be in the way of my desired State-of-Being and at the very worse is a self-delusion to allow me to pretend I can Sin those Sins I want and at some level pretend they are okay because I did not realize .. and yet such is a Sin against our Benefactors – all the ones Hosting those back to Jesus Christ, and it is likely these Days-of-Bread, these Merciful time, is growing less and less .. that for example I might Burn for a years and get a Day, where it was only every month not long ago, where it was .. started as Years of childhood and until the .. say 3rd time after being warned of a Grave Sin, and then the On-Off, the Just-Mercy ratio shift occurred. (My first pass on writing this was 1000 years and a Day, which is likely more the case – if not .. much .. longer.)
.. and the Nephropathy might be Mercy also, as I have sometimes Felt Burning in regions.
Perhaps my Holy Fallen Status in this version is such that it is not possible to provide the fantastic sensitivity I have and am loosing since that First version (back on this Multiverse Path) placed on the Cross. I understand how to at least stop it's Decline, yet continue to not do it – so hurting this Chapel where the Trinity occupy, and how – especially if I Know it .. at least within my ability to be Sure given this suspected Obfuscation – especially if I Know it – How can this NOT be a Grave Sin?
.. so not changing my Diet so I Fast for at least 3 Days in a row – real fasting where water and low (and I will include unsweetened coffee and tea – and hope such is a Forgivable Sin .. which shows how such IS a Sin for me – not Right-Ordered towards God.

And since I do not do what I know is correct – I am dying .. my body is eating my once considerable muscle mass, injuries are not healing quickly, eye-sight and other aspects getting worse, .. I will likely soon be faced with a situation where not seeking medical intervention would lead to my death or seemingly reasonable questions of my Sanity in not doing so, a situation which would put me under that direct control of others – and in many versions those others will not be care oriented – to say the least.
The Sanity question is relevant in .. why since I have Rationally – do I NOT Fast as I have outlined? If it was a matter of doing something active – like putting mending stitches in a cloth .. well, that would be something I do not imagine would be a problem .. but NOT DOING SOMETHING .. something that has been a source of problem since childhood – linked to security and mother-love and such.
