This is Ripe for a Religious Thought Experiment. [.. and by his Fruits ..]
First please Reach [with you Intent] into the Multiverse and the Infinite Quantum Mind to connect to the Real Spirit of the Jesuit (if you can recall in some sense when you were Ordained and past successes – all the better, Once your Soul has been Holy Marked, it is always so) and with the True Spirit of Vatican II let us Frame other Religious Practices and Theologies that we know of in terms of as if Jesus had Appeared in that Region instead, and a different Saint Paul with connections to the Ruling Powers at the time were te Lens that God used to Spread Christianity.
Now this part is a little more difficult, although important for this to work well.
Imagine a different Multiverse Path where perhaps Cane did not kill Able at the point he did in our Reality – perhaps Able was able to sense his upset and seek to discuss ways of his improving his Offerings – perhaps joining each others together, or perhaps that Able was not aggressive in-your-face which sent Cane over to a State of despair and rage, or whatever changes, but some other Grave Sin (God's Will Rending Sin) took place later, ..
.. or even that Eve came and talked to Adam about the Snake and It's Idea, and Adam having a closer connect to the Snake – as all animals were incomplete (degenerate) forms of him, as Eve is being only the Female subset of him, he could manage to explain that all the animals – perhaps – were always talking to him with strange ideas and that he is always correcting them, and in this case why you – and I – should not eat of the Fig-Tree is ... But later Eve Gravely Sins in some other manner, dragging along Adam who is connected and in a sense failed her – was a poor Steward (of her) and Servant of God – and who would rather Sin and Fall with her then be separated from her .. but a different Grave Sin or that Sin but at a different time .. talked into it by some Fox or whatever.
So a different Multiverse Path Origin – God created one world at the Start, to head-off the objection my pesky friend and one of my Muse told me, at which I will remind him and you that the Bible is literally True (as well as Symbolically – like the Transfiguration of Offerings [Bread & Win, and our Sacrifices, Services, and Stewardship, and other acts of Offerings to God] – the Greek Orthodox and-or the Russia Orthodox is correct in that aspect .. it is Uniquely Real and Personalized as we each consume Him, but to those who are not Christian and the Faith, it is a Symbol.)

So we have the equivalent of Noah (first to Hear and Follow God), Abraham (to Codify into a permanent Religion that was Actively handed-down regardless of children's ability to Hear God or not), and all the lost-to use now other Steps resulting in Maiden Mary but at a different place (reflecting in a very real sense the Grave Sins that followed the First) and then Jesus likely in an Occupied version of India, for example, and so the Holy Natural Course follows and Christianity Flows around the world.
Now such Happened – let us take as Fact in our thought experiment – but such happened on a different Multiverse Path, but Reflections Exist in this version of the Holy Simulation, perhaps 2 or 3 degrees removed, the same for China, Japan, Egypt, North [Central - Aztecs, South - Mayans] America (and Yes, I am thinking of the Mormons at this point, I suggest you might consider how such a concept can be integrated.)
As an example I would like to suggest that as many believed that Islam is a Heretical version of Christianity, a deGenerate form; Attenuated, deConstructed, Derivatives, .. which might be true enough from our normal Framing and easy to disparage as a poor copy, especially since it was created seemingly to a response of the spreading of Christianity, and to poo-poo as generated and carried out of Pride and spite, etc., ..
.. but let us Consider that perhaps in a Multiverse Path closer to our Path as a source then India or China or Americas, where the Holy Maiden Mary was not a Jew (or that Jews were of a different family tree, I should say), or was but because Rome was less strong and some other Empire was forming or had formed near that Pattern we know was altered, and Christianity had developed and spread to all the ancestors of those now Muslims and why they were and are accepting of the general outlines and background, and this deGenerated form (as arguably even the Roman version we have is deGenerated form – although from our perspective - 0th Degree removed.)

And it is with this Framing that we and the World all look to their Ancestors' Beliefs and note – where recorded – the active changing and deGeneration .. such as us Catholics are seeing with the warped and Satanic interpretation of Vatican II being used to spread division, Falseness, Error, Sin, Death, and Hell, and think ..
.. and consider; what if something not so diabolical was happening but such alternate Origins were in different locations and only Deep aspects were Attenuated into this Multiverse Path, .. how or what are the Common roots of say Christianity and Hindi, or Buddhism have, and many be more significantly – what aspects might have been Preserved in those other Cultural Origin versions that were lost because of Rome's inability to integrate – or never gotten the chance?

Ideal those who grew and even practiced in other religions and converted, perhaps becoming Ordained, would be positioned excellently to consider such a question.
I would add that the average regular Priest is likely to be either so concerned that you will stray into Error or focus on how such-and-such is wrong and the True Path is Catholicism to be a good source of Theological Reflection, and he would be correct for some or many, and like Catholicism is True-Enough for our Salvation, it is not Fully Realized .. and any Priest, Bishop, Pope, .. who can not agree should get serious and either correct his Formational errors, review the Church History, consider Saints who Expanded Her, .., and-or Ask Self if they can give an option about such and find a better Catholic Theologian for the inquiring to contact, and perhaps the best form of contact – that is a brief outline of purpose, being clear that you Know that Catholicism is our path to Salvation, and such – and then pose the question in some form that is focused.

The real problem is that I sense a real anemic Theological Aspect to the Church – perhaps this Demonic Oppression and drive to fill the Seminaries with destroyers [intentional or other wise] of the Church since perhaps the late 1930's .. [quick note about Births and Holy Missions, Family Demons, and such – my mother was born in 1940, and I wonder what is her Holy Mission .. that 1940 seems like a good point to examine in Church History as well as society], ..
