I have never even found any Catholic aware of why they have the 'x' on a staff & what the symbol meant at its inception, or also which 'gods' it actually represent.

Jesus was of course scathingly critical of both the ecclesiastical and political establishments in his time and place for which he was executed as a common criminal by the Roman State. End of story which is to say that the "resurrection" did not occur, could not have happened.
Nor did Jesus give the bogus "great commission" to convert all nations to the "one true faith". He could of course only have given that commission while he alive in a living-breathing-feeling human form and not after the "resurrection" which of course did not occur.
